Situated in the picturesque Ullswater area, just minutes from the M6 junction 41, this grade II listed building makes the perfect backdrop for your next marquee event – and we have accommodation on-site too!

The West Wing

Luxuriously furnished, the west wing has been converted in to private, self-catering accommodation. With spacious rooms that retain all of the character of the period (1837), including original fireplaces and beautiful décor, with all bedrooms overlooking the breath-taking grounds.

Described as a home from home, you can expect a warm welcome at Calthwaite Hall whilst enjoying both the enormous suites and exquisite grounds. This is what sets Calthwaite Hall apart from other exclusive use venues in the lakes, along with having permanent 3-phase power, external lighting of the grounds and 24-hour CCTV security.

Calthwaite Hall also plays host to a stunning flock of ducks, peacocks and swans, the perfect companions for you or your guests stroll around the grounds on a beautiful summers evening.
